Obviously, I'm a little behind on the Tradescast! Listened to this episode today, and the discussion of the OWN network reminded me of this little article I saw (http://www.mediabistro.com/fishbowlla/o-the-oprah-magazine-struggling-adweek-winfrey-own_b52582) noting that O Magazine sales were down by 30+ percent, which I thought was really interesting, because most Oprah fans I know are such loyalists--but a bunch of them must not but the magazine when before they did. Did her show interact with the magazine in some way, or was her constant onscreen presence just needed to remind people that they wanted to buy?
