The TradesCast for Week 48 - November 30, 2014

Marco? Polo? When I hear the name I think pool games, not a $90 million Netflix series meant to have the American company explode worldwide. Will it work? Jeff and Tom talk it out. Speaking of talk, everyone is talking about the talking on the podcast Serial. Is it a flash in the pan or the next biggest thing in casting? It looks like 3D is here to stay in some way, but what about 4D? It's here, at least in L.A., and it might bring the kids back to the theater. All that and more, so get over that Thanksgiving tummy ache and have a listen!

The TradesCast for Week 46 - November 16, 2014

Here comes winter, and with it the big time movies for Oscar contention. But how come the kids these days don't want to watch things big? It's all small screen and Interweb and such. So net neutrality is worth watching closely, and Tom and Jeff are here to break it down for you. Speaking of going small, the small screen small network AMC is doing some oddly large stuff, not with what they're showing but with what they're not. If that doesn't make any sense, then have a listen and the guys will explain. All that and more, so have a listen and learn some stuff!

The TradesCast for Week 44 - November 2, 2014

If it's appointment TV it must be live - and someone must be about to die. Tom and Jeff talk about the crazy Nik Wallenda, and whether risking death is what it takes to draw people to the small screen. Or will NBC continue with a show about space flight for the average Joe, if one of those Joes dies while filming. Speaking of death in a lighter way, NBC has opted to off a couple of its new comedies already. So much for trying to find an audience. Also at an end is Mr. Colbert and his Report. How will his replacement do, and how will be do as a replacement for the grumpy Letterman? all that and more, so don't die - live to click another day!
