The TradesCast for Week 44 - Oct. 30, 2011

Oh Puss, you and your boots, who doesn't love you? You are so debonair that you broke an all-time Halloween weekend at the box office, leaving studs Johnny Depp and Justin Timberlake in the dust.

And as fascinating as that is, we are spending more time trying to figure out which conglomerate to hate more in the war between DIRECTV and FOX. Both want more money, and we're pretty sure consumers won't see a dime back if the satellite company drops 19 Fox channels from its lineup.

Did you hear that Universal was actually going to offer a $60 pay-per-view, but not of MMA. It was for the upcoming movie Tower Heist. Insane? Yes. Did Universal cave to theater chains? Yes. But this will come up again. Bet on it.

Those are but a few of the awesome entertainment stories Tom and Jeff offer today. So check it out!

The TradesCast for Week 43 - Oct. 23, 2011

Gina is back, which means gossip, which means the latest on Michael Jackson's whack-o doc-o, and whether or not he is going to be in jail for a long time. If only Ms. Lohan could join him in a cell somewhere.

Yes, we knew Paranormal Activity 3 would be big - but come on, it's insane. Don't you wish you came up with this idea? They seem to be cashing in partly because the films are low budget and have no stars, which must drive Hollywood folks insane!

Big surprise - The Three Musketeers is not a hit the 100th time around. Who's fault is it? We discuss.

Also, is the Rosie Show going to be around a while, despite its low ratings?

Nothing got canceled last week on TV, but don't worry something will soon. Which one? Listen and we'll tell you!

The TradesCast for Week 42 - Oct. 16, 2011

Remember when Charlie's Angels was a popular TV show? If you do, then you are old, and also you had a Farrah poster in your room that you stared at for a long time every day. Anyway, the new version was DOA, and so it's gone. What do we think of that? We've got some thoughts.

Did you stand in line for iPhone4S? You did? Why? We wonder aloud.

No one watches TV on Saturdays, and now Fridays are in jeopardy!

Here comes Paranormal Activity 3. Be afraid ... of that scary box office.

Also, what's up with DISH and Blockbuster? Tom and Jeff find it fascinating, and so will you!

All that and more so check it out now!

The TradesCast for Week 41 - Oct. 9, 2011

Yes, Steve Jobs died, and we'll get to it today. But first, because Gina can't help herself, we are all about the Michael Jackson crazy-doc trial. Did he do murder or just bad doctoring? We discuss.

The Simpsons being on TV and Harry Shearer being a jerk. These two things are comforting because they never change.

Did Jeff call it or what? The first cancellations of the season are here!

Real Steel does better in numbers than Ides of March, but numbers can be deceiving.

Who wants to see Footloose, besides Gina that is?

All that and more so have a listen!

The TradesCast for Week 40 - Oct. 2, 2011

It's kind of odd timing that Ashton and Demi are breaking up just as Two and a Half Men is taking off again. Is that show some kind of curse? Or does it just take a jerk to play that stupid role?

Meanwhile, over at FOX, Terra Nova came out and no one much cared. Will it stick around for long?

No one is going to the movies right now, but can you blame them?

These are just a few of the topics Gina and Jeff dive into, so have a listen!
